The Christmas Lectures from the Royal Institution
The Christmas Lectures from the Royal Institution are the world’s leading science lectures for young people, begun in 1825 and broadcast on UK national television every year since 1966. Riot has worked closely with the Ri on the Christmas Lectures over the past five years, helping to maximise their reach and bringing in new viewers from across the Ri’s target audience groups and beyond. Over the years we have secured national media coverage across a broad range of titles, including: The Sunday Times Magazine, Metro, Independent, Telegraph, BBC Radio 2 Graham Norton, BBC Radio 4 Today, BBC Radio 4 Woman's Hour, BBC Breakfast, Cosmopolitan, Fun Kids Radio, Newsround and New Scientist. Our work contributed to the Lectures receiving their highest viewing figures for this century in 2021.
